The name JewelPelle reflects an important part of our story. Pelle means leather in Italian, while Jewel comes from the original idea of taking leather beyond traditional leather goods and exploring it as jewelry.
Stingray leather became particularly interesting for this idea. Its distinctive texture and natural pearl pattern gave us a material that could move beyond handbags and wallets into bangles, cuffs, earrings and necklaces.
That was only the beginning.
As JewelPelle evolved, so did our designs. What began with the idea of bringing leather into jewelry expanded into handbags, small leather goods, accessories and lifestyle products.
Bags eventually became an important part of the business, leading us to develop a much broader collection using stingray, crocodile and python leather.
Today, JewelPelle continues to develop its own designs while also collaborating with Italian designers.
The collaboration brings a contemporary European design perspective to our product development, while manufacturing remains rooted in the experience of our craftsmen in Thailand.
For us, these are not two separate worlds.

Our story began 40 years ago with small leather goods, where every stitch, cut, and finish was done by hand. That foundation taught us the full production cycle from raw material to finished product and shaped the DNA of our factory today: meticulous attention to detail at every step.
